Yoritsuné
Matsudaïra, is the father of contemporary music in
Japan (1907-2001). He mixed Gagaku and contemporary
music in a very personal way. After its meeting with
Yumi Nara in 1989 he almost only compose vocal music.
It is the third
Yoritsuné Matsudaïra CD, Yumi Nara release. From 1991
until it's last piece, Yoritsuné Matsudaïra musical
language keeps evolving. We can hear in this CD it's
progression toward and ideal art of an almost unreal
beauty.
